Made with all-natural materials, including biodegradable and eco-friendly natural latex and an organic cotton cover, our classic latex pillow is the perfect choice for anyone who values a safe and healthy sleeping environment.
We avoid using synthetic foams or fillers and thoroughly test our materials for harmful substances, so you can rest easy knowing you're sleeping on a non-toxic, safe and eco-conscious pillow.
Our classic latex pillow is not only made with all-natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable materials, but it's also produced in our dedicated facility using a carbon-neutral process.
This means that you can enjoy a restful sleep while also reducing your carbon footprint - something we're passionate about.
Both our classic latex pillow and the packaging it comes in are 100% biodegradable. Our pillow is also compostable, making it one of the most eco-friendly pillows in Australia.
Enjoy The Right Balance of Plush Comfort and Support
The dunlop process we use moulds our latex into pillows that are softer at the top and denser in the middle. This provides a 'cushoned' feel while still maintaining edge-to-edge support.
Natural Latex Stays Cool and Airy
Our custom-engineered pin moulds produce responsive latex that moulds instantly to your head and neck to provide personalised support. The holes also allow air to move freely, keeping you cool.
Our Commitment to the Environment
RestOrganic has a commitment to provide the best quality natural latex pillows in Australia - without compromising the environment.
We collect most of our natural latex from small, certified organic farmers in Sri Lanka. The latex harvesting process does not damage the tree, or require any part of the tree to be removed or cut down.
Not only do these rubber trees provide latex, but they are also 'carbon sinks' because of their ability to store carbon dioxide – another win for the environment!
What is 'organic latex'?
Quite simply, organic latex is the highest quality natual latex on the market. It is extracted (or tapped) from rubber trees and moulded into natural products under strict environmental and social guidelines.
These guidelines are established by governing bodies such as the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS). Organic latex must be chemical free and harvested from trees that haven't been treated with pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
The production process itself must be environmentally friendly and traceable from the plantation to the customer.
What is a natural latex pillow?
Our natural latex pillow is made from the sap of rubber trees, which is processed and made into a foam-like material. Natural latex is known for its durability, breathability, and resistance to dust mites and mold.
How and where are your pillows made?
RestOrganic is a family run business with a dedicated production facility in Sri Lanka. Our organic natural latex is sourced locally from dedicated farmers who don't use pesticides or chemical fertilisers. The latex is then poured into moulds to produce the various shapes and sizes of our pillows. Finally, a GOTS certified organic cotton cover is sewn to enclose each pillow. The finished product is then shipped directly to you, free of charge, from our facility.
What are the benefits of a natural latex pillow?
Natural latex pillows are known for their durability and support, providing a comfortable sleeping surface that conforms to the shape of your head and neck. Our pillows offer optimal spinal alignment and pressure relief.
Additionally, natural latex is naturally hypoallergenic, dust mite and mold resistant, which may be beneficial for people with allergies or sensitivities.
How long will my organic latex pillow last?
Organic latex pillows are known for their durability and can last for several years with proper care. They are also naturally resistant to dust mites, mold and mildew, which can extend the life of your pillow.
How do I care for my organic latex pillow?
To care for your organic latex pillow, use a pillow protector and wash it regularly. You should also wash the removable cotton cover.
Avoid exposing the pillow to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Also, try to avoid getting the pillow wet as latex is not water-resistant.
How do I choose the right pillow size?
Our classic pillows come in 2 sizes and fit smaller size pillowcases eg 51 x 66 cm
Mid loft (cm) - 60 x 40 x 15.5 | Better suited for side sleepers who occassionally sleep on their back
Low Loft (cm) - 60 x 40 x 12.5 | Ideal for combination sleepers (stomach, back or side) and also smaller sleepers.
What if I am not happy with my product?
We're always trying to make our pillows better and appreciate any feedback. If you're not completely satisfied with your pillow, we'd be happy to return or exhange it - no questions asked. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll make it right.
What steps are you taking to prevent the spread of Covid-19?
The pandemic has certainly taken its toll on small businesses and affected the way that we operate. Nonetheless, we are dedicated to bringing you the same high quality products as we always have. All our employees must wear face masks and gloves and socially distance while working. We also do mandatory temperature checks and encourage proper hand hygiene.
